The house of the Culla was one of the most important country houses in Manresa. A house that nowadays is surrounded by the city but it maintains its medieval structure and its vegetables gardens with the purpose of building a true environmental education space.
Owned by the City Council of Manresa and managed by the Parc de la Séquia, the Culla restored and equipped with utensils of traditional rural life, with the express desire to enhance the rural roots of the city and the region.
Culla is the headquarters of the Camp d’Aprenentatge del Bages, an educational service from the Education Department of the Catalonia Council. Its aim is to understand the environment in its different points of view (natural, social and cultural) and is adressed especially to a school public.
The regulatory council of the origin designation Pla de Bages has its headquarters in La Culla. It is one of the smallest denominations in Catalonia, with 450 hectares located in 26 municipalities and only 14 wineries but with very high levels of quality and recognition.
The Culla house is undoubtedly a space with great possibilities and an enormous versatility for the organization of events, whether public or private, so we put their spaces at the disposal of companies, institutions and individuals.
