Coming from Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, they were built in Manresa at the end of the 19th century
The Technical Museum has received a deposit in the form of a commode, a loom and a presser, manufactured in Manresa, and from the Aranyó Steam of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda. The importance of these two machines lies in their origin and typology. The loom, built in Manresa by the workshop of Josep Obiols (“Children of Josep Obiols constructors“) in the middle of the 20th century, is a unique element of the stud, which was not available for any copies like this in the Museum . And the traitor, from the late nineteenth century, is also significant for its relationship with the water industry.
To these pieces they will be doing restoration work, waiting in the future, to incorporate them into the permanent exhibitions of the Museum of the Technique of Manresa.
