Artist Gisel Rosso visits Manresa to paint a mural on the Balconada neighborhood that claims respect for land

The Argentine muralist, who will be staying in the capital of Bages until July 2, makes the creation of people available to them. Thus, as the work develops, it establishes interrelations with the neighborhood so that the final result reflects the concerns of the different institutions that collaborate on the project and which are: Fundació Aigües de Manresa – Junta de la Sèquia, the Community Plan of the Balconada, the Punt Òmnia and the Association of Neighbors of the Balconada, the Catalan Association for Peace and the Councils of Youth and Cooperation, institutions that promote the right to land and education in values.

Gisel Rosso Barrientos is staying for a week in the Barri de la Balconada, realizing a mural centered on reasons that want to build a respectful way of relating to the earth, a commitment to prevent climate change, an increasingly urgent issue. The theme is not casual, since the mural will be painted in collaboration with Fundació Aigües de Manresa – Junta de la Sèquia, the Community Plan of the Balconada, the Punt Òmnia and the Association of Neighbors of the Balconada, the Association Catalan for Peace and the Councils of Youth and Cooperation
