The Technical Museum of Manresa has renewed the Environmental Quality Guarantee emblem from the Department of Territory and Sustainability of Generalitat de Catalunya, for the category of cultural facilities: Libraries, Museums and Collections.
The Technical Museum obtained this certificate in 2015, being the first Bages museum to obtain it for its category. The current renovation is valid for three years, until 2021.
The Environmental Quality Guarantee emblem is the Catalan organic labeling system that recognizes products and services that meet certain requirements of environmental quality, above what is established in current regulations. In this case, the criteria of efficiency and energy saving, water saving, waste management, noise and vibration and general management, among others, are taken into account.
